It's almost time for my yearly pilgrimage to Larto. I haven't seen any reports from up there but that isn't unusual. I guess I'll have to dust off my trolling set up and just see for myself. I have been to Lake Martin a couple times lately for bass but it's still early, fishing is really slow. Over the winter I decided to build a couple fly rods, using 9 foot American blanks, 5 and 6 weight, they came out real nice. I look forward to the spring when the fish are more shallow and I can give these poles a proper work out. Anyway, if you heard anything about the fishing at Larto, a heads up would be nice.
