Been making some after work trips while I have light. Anybody this way, which is next to no one, it's bout to get good for us some after work timers. Mouths of creeks n "bayous" with black water mixing into the falling choc milk.
That time of year when caution signs show.
Then the big water rolls back in……
Not sure why but caught more females shallow, full of eggs, with bloody tales than males.

    6-7' down
Slow moving in a straight pattern. Been just setting my pole down n sculling a foot above the drop., unless I hit a hot spot for 4 or more.
Gon have to fight thru last years spawn but it's fun. Be better if all water will go black, but dint see it happening.

Not on fire but it's getting better

20 watt, yessir. And some blk/chrt tubes mixed. 1/8 oz heads on all.

NOW THATS AN IDEA MR GENE!

Went back this morn and fished 8-11. Brought home 12, no size to em and threw back triple that.
    It'll get better

That's interesting about the crawfish. I didn't think they would pickup bait off the bottom.

Good post. Eating mudbugs I see. Don't see much of that up here.
