Thread: What a great group of people

Lord, I thank You for allowing me to be a small part of a great group of fishermen and fisherwomen. They are an amazing group. They share information with each other. The laugh together and even sometimes laugh at each other. And very seldom do any hackles get raised. They fish together and respect each other. They are from all over the country with many different backgrounds and jobs; and yet they have one thing in common; they love to crappie fish. Plus, they are like an open vault when it comes to helping another member by sharing their wealth of knowledge, wisdom, and techniques.

God, I also thank You for the person who sent me the jigs yesterday. Just out of the blue I got a PM and one of our members, a man I have never even met, told me that he was going to send me some jigs. He even ask me what colors I wanted them. And yesterday I received them by UPS. I won't embarrass this man, Lord, by calling his name, but he will know who he is. More importantly, Lord, You know who he is. Lord, thank You for his kind gesture towards me. He has been an encouragement to me. He is like a cool glass of water on a hot summer day. Bless him, Lord, for his refreshing generosity.

Dear heavenly Father I, truly, believe the world would be a better place during 2015 if more of the people in it were like the members of Crappie.Com, kind, sharing, giving, respectful, and loving their fellow man. Amen!
