    Default Couple recent trips

Haven't been posting. But been fishing a bit when not hunting.

Fished off intracoastal out of Houma couple days. One day had 30 ish fish. With big fish weighing1-9

Fished again Monday. Started in decade caught about 20 trout and 2 red( just kept couple in case my sacalait plan failed). Then mid morning made run back to intracoastal kept about 15 sacs. Including a 15 inch 1 lb 15 oz A real monster for our marsh area. Would have liked to caught it when full of eggs and heavier Name: image.jpg

Nice job SS, isn't it nice to be able to fish saltwater and fresh water all in one trip. Where else but the Sportsman's Paradise. You probably could have made an early duck hunt also.

Gene, of all the benefits of living further south than I do now, that's the one that crosses my mind most often....I wish I were closer so I could saltwater fish at the same time.

Actually after fishing that day ran to my duck lease which is south of intracoastal near lake hackberry. Was thinking just that. Combo trip coming soon. Ducks, sacalait, then trout and reds. Definitely a cajun slam
