    Default I Predict....

The next big intro into the fishing world could be a PWC modified for the fisherman.....it's sorta like a kayak with power.....I really think it would attract the younger guys and the price could be attractive also....visualize a small trolling motor, built in ice chest, couple of rod holders, a few storage compartments and bingo.....all the necessities to get the job done....it may not attract the older guys but I really believe there would be a market for this....

    what do you think....

Ive daydreamed about such a craft for a long time. I would love to see one. Hope your predictions are right. By the way..I did see some videos of johnboats fitted with jet ski motors. You talk about a gitter..those are the coolest thing since chicken wings. I would LOVE to put one of those together one day.

I've been eyeballing Craigslist for a PWC to do just that. I've got a notepad with ideas on tackle storage, rod holder placement, and the ever important cup holder. I just haven't pulled the trigger on a ride yet.

I think its a great idea, with lots of potential.

A trolling motor never crossed my mind, but maybe....

I think you are describing the Torqeedo. Too pricy and complex for me though. It's impressive.

Put some rod holders on that front rack and you could spider rig on it...

For what it cost for a pwc and to rig it you could buy a nice boat with all the comforts.

There was a Dr. out of Morgan City who fished all the way down towards Halter and Pointe au Fer island on one... Range was the issue so he stashed fuel at friends camps for the return trip, I'm guessing they are allot more economical to run with the 4 strokes nowadays . Hydro
