    Default D"Arbonne Boat Lanes

First time fishing there....I am going to try to get a lake map showing boat lanes soon as I get in the area.....question is, are the boat lane buoys close enough together and easily seen to run in.....I will only launch from the state park......I don't have a problem with running the whole lake to other fishing areas....my GPS will get me back to the landing.....

    Thanks....

They are marked well. Just have to pay attention to doveof the curves. Also remember that not all marked areas are the actual channel. If you have navionic hotmaps premium Darbonne is on the latest version. I' all pm u my cell number if u have any questions. I only live 20 min. from the lake and fish it all the time.

When I saw your post I was going to add what Jimmy said....poles are paired up along the route. Top of one side is green, top of the other is red. I find that really useful given the curves in the channel, so I don't stray to the outside. It's one of the 'stumpiest' lakes I've been on in some areas.

PS - You have to watch the curves .... There are stumps that cant be seen in what you think should be withen the boat lane. I hit one in the curve that was marked, I was luckey it did not destroy the lower unit. As it was it sheared off the frame on the motor the stick stearing connected to the motor. it ended all my fishing for three months while the boat was sitting in the shop waiting for the part from Japan, One of those Parts not normally carried by Dealers

    Hey PS,

I've only fish there once (last years gathering)with PPG and it was in the drizzling rain. I don't remember running the big motor much. All the folks were fishing the channel. Oh and caught a few fish and never new they bit.

I've seen stumps just inside the channel markers, so don't crowd the markers.
