    I wish I wasn't having so much fun closer to home. Looks like it would be great for Kayaks right now fish or no fish. Still fishing 2 days a week, but getting lazy about reporting small catches in areas where nobody seems to go. I'm missing Shallow Runner, Perchjerker, and Saute86.

    Anyone have any luck in the canal near Pat's in Henderson? Not sure what the name of the canal is but the town installed a nice ramp just south of Pat's. There is plenty water on that side of the levee and I've seen quite a few boats launch out of there but I am not familiar with the area.

    I work with a guy who fishes bayou amy often and he fishes further up north towards the Krotz Spring area. I fished Amy a few times this year didn't do much.
