If they bring the shad and minners then the crappie will be there eventually. I bet those LEDs are gentle on the battery too.

Do you move around with them on, or just turn them on over/near structure? I can see now from your picture replying to my question that they won't distract you - thanks for posting. I am somewhat afraid to run at night because of all the standing timber we fish, as well as I want to clearly see when I'm in motion. At the right time and place, I'd most certainly give it a try. Thanks again.

I ran with them on it dont mess with seeing but I didn't run fast
