    13 Monday

"G" did catch some yesterday on the motor oil slider
Also, I liked the action on the new B&M thanks for the input

Also had a good visit with sacalady, one day over the weekend. That girl can ramp a boat! She also had a nice mess of sac's.

Hope I didn't mislead, but we only caught a few on the sliders yesterday
The wife and I try different colors until we figure out what they want.
But as finicky as they were, I think presentation was the key and not color.
We'd swim the jig instead of popping it, and they would hit it on fall on the cast or when we'd swim it by the grass and when stopped pulling it, they would hit it on the fall.

And you really had to watch the cork and be ready to set the hook quick because they wouldn't hold it long

That's going to be a serious mess of filets.
    Tell'em I'll be there.

Absolutely not. It's usually not the bait or colors as much as it is confidence. Thats what I am thanking you for. It has put the fun back in fishing.

10/4 on the confidence and the fun.
Not knocking it, but that's why I'm not interested in tournament/competition fishing, that would take the fun out of it for me.

Not knocking this either, but we don't put out brush piles either, the only challenge we like is figuring out the fish and how to get them to hit the jig. That's the fun for us.
