    Adam, I was just kidding about the tools as we all know a floating boat is never level and of course a boat makes for a handy tool box. Did you ever get the 9.9 running. JR is right about 14' but when Linda and I first married and fished we used a 12 X36 and did well. Of course we were a combined weight of 200 pounds, nothing like today. We'd probably sink it today and if not we would surly not be able to swap seats like we used to.

    Hey PS,

    Had a co worker tell me over 30 years ago about the fish suspending in the middle of the canals during the summer time low water in the spillway.

    I park my boat in the shade on the bank and fish the middle of the canals. Doesn't get much easier.
