    Default New Ministry; new lakes

Good luck with the new flock Pastor. Hate to hear you have to give up the house on the lake.

I think tree frog is from that area he probably knows all the local spots.

I don't know much about console boats but if I ever get one it will prolly be the Lowe

Sorry bout your dad. We're fixen to be neighbors then. I live in Joyce toward Sikes and Treefrog lives out past Welcome home about 2 miles. You can fish Black Bayou at Clarence in the winter, Black Lake, Clear Lake, Red River, and Claiborne is still only an hr and 20 minutes away. I'll be changing the front doors on the church in the next few weeks, so I should see you there.

Very sorry about losing your dad. Prayers going out to you and your family.
About the boat, I purchased a new G3 eagle 17 footer with a 70 yamaha 4 stroke from Cheeks Marine in Alexandria. It does have the 3 holes on a HUGE deck in the front. The Ranger makes a similar boat, with all aluminum construction. I probably would have bought the Ranger, but none were close enough to me in the color that I wanted. I highly recommend the G3. It comes with a depth finder, but I would remommend exchanging the one that comes with it with a more advanced model, such as the Lowrance HDS series. here is a pic of my boat. By the way, just because you get a new boat, it does necessarily mean that you will catch more fish. But you will be a lot more comfortable and make your outings more enjoyable. I am living proof of that. I have not caught a white perch in my last 2 outings.
