Let me know how y'all do At Benoit. I live close to it and haven't been doing squat there.

Do you know if the water is still bad in Beau Bayou? How bout Oak Ridge? Maybe the heavy rain fixed it up.

Water bad? The few times I went back there the water was beautiful but too high. Friends of mine have been going and catching but not enough for their liking.

I went last week to Beau Bayou. I guess I call black water bad water. All there was was grass carp jumping. I fish the are a lot. Maybe the recent rain fixed it up. I hadn't gone all the way to O.R..

The last time I went was couple months ago and we went to the 42. Water was black in some spots but pretty everywhere else. Imma fill up the boat with fuel and hopefully not have to cover too much ground. Looks like the river stalled and isn't gonna drop as much as predicted yesterday. I cant wait til it drops to 6-7 feet.
