My success is simple to measure. I go, I paddle, and I make it home. Fish is a bonus, but I need a few now and again.

When normal patterns don't work try laying jig pole down, turn around and look out the other side of the boat for a minute, now pick the pole back up and set the hook on a fish.

Fished today from 630 to 100 and caught 1 10inch fish!!! What would it be like if every time we went out we would catch our 50 fish, do y'all think they would taste as good, do y'all think we would want to be up for 430 to go fishing tomorrow, guess I'm just saying bad days are good some days!!!

Yes swampman that's why they call it fishing and not catching lol and believe me I've been fishing this year. It sure makes the days you catch so much more special!

I give that a big AMEN! I'm always glad on days when I scratch because I don't have to clean them dead tired at the end of the day. I don't mind cleaning them, but hey my freezer has plenty and that's the bright side of failure.
