Thread: Back to the river

Got up this AM with all my honey do's done. Not really, youngest daughter coming in town. The wife and her have a day planned and don't need me in the way.

Boat's still hooked up and battery charged. One stop for ice, biscuit and fuel. On the water abut 9am.

Ran down river were PPG and I had caught 5-6 fish and started there. First cast, got a bump. Cast back and got bumped 3-4 times. Finally hooked em. Good fish, in the box it went .Picked up 8 fish on the spot but had to cast 30 times. Something to keep in my notes.

The heat and boat traffic got to be to much and pulled out at noon with a dozen good fish.
