find some grass that is six to ten foot below the surface and do what they call strolling. Put out several poles, strip out some line and troll around or let the wind drift you. Not the most exciting way to fish, but this time of year you can catch white perch that way. Mostly on the south end. Watch where you catch a couple and go back over the same area. Good luck.

A friend of mine recently caught some on a spinner bait that appeared to him to be pre-spawn. Try shallow grass first.

Big blue gills should be getting to their time. I will be hunting beds in 11' to 14' deep!

What Skip said. We caught in 8 to 12 feet over grass casting rr's and jigs. Slow reel to boat.

This time last year, Skip, Danny, and I pulled the road runners over grass in six mile. They were there. So, they will probably be the same mid-lake.
