That 10ft. rise was due almost entirely on a 12in. rainfall in less than 24hrs. Monday. That means it will have less of an effect when it gets here in about 10 days. Of course if they get a lot more rain in the Ohio Valley all bets are off. A May rise in the Atchafalaya River would be good for the crawfish crop as well as good fishing on the fall.
