    I know what you guys are saying, but I'll eat those reptiles like gator, big rattlesnakes, etc. But them stinking gaspergou - not going to happen. Some folks down here tear them up.

    Tracker, I tell you what, if you keep the ones under 12", and cook them either blackened, in a tomatoe gravy (courtbillion), or in a onion gravy (maybe the best) you'll never say that again! We used to catch and cut them for alligator bait, an old trapper I fished with would hoard the small ones and fix em for supper, great eating! I'm pretty sure they get a bad rap because people try the big ones
