Wondering the same. I've never tried summer time crappie fishing, but definitely wanting to give it a try this year.

I was wanting to get some opinions on where the fish go in Darbonne once the spawn is over. I am going to be sinking some brush coming up in a few weeks. I have my umbrella ready to battle it out this summer. Anyone's thoughts are greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I wonder where they are all year long. Just don't get to fish often enough to kind of know where that are.

In May and June I think they do best fishing the flats and stump fields about 10' deep.
If you have access to any docks hit those up once the sun is high up in the sky. In my experience they get up in the shade, and are nothing more than sitting ducks. Most other times find and jig all the cover you can manage to get to.
I have tried Docks, Stump fields, channel edges, shallow, deep... I am begaining to think they Hibernate like Bears in the winter
