    Question 13.98' and rising

Does that mean if the Atchafalya creeps up to 14.1' tomorrow, that a certain Island may become accessible?

It'll be ok to get in, but the lake is low, so getting out might be tough, like impossible! Lol. Maybe we can drag over on the pipes

I haven't gone there yet, but have been threatening to this year if and when it gets high enough. I imagine its easier in a flat bottom aluminum boat, might have to be up higher for my bass boat.

In a shallow drafting flat, 14.1 is ok if the current isn't to bad ( you may need to get out and push on the rocks), but with a bass boat I wouldn't go until 15 or higher.

Went check it out yesterday....hard to get in and out. Had to get out and push and yank and pull...did fish for 2 hours, not a bite! One other boat in there, he had nothing too, water is crystal clear!

I've heard about that area, but never been. Also heard that some serious fish can be caught there.

Can't believe I'm gonna say this, might delete shortly, so read fast.... Windy and cloudy, it has to be windy overcast or low light for the best bite, bass and sacaulait. I should of went today but surcomed to the honey do list....
