    Default White Perch A-rigs

Anyone ever used one these for white perch? I've had pretty good success using them for Bass, hauled in a few 4-8+ pound bass, and once had a double hook up with a 5 and 7+ pounder... was wondering if anyone has used the smaller variations made specifically for white perch. Been thinking about throwing one around my main fishing hole.

I think he's talking about an Alabama rig.

I tried one during the winter of 2012, with no success. I've wanted to try one during the staging and spawn periods, but have been unable to get out on the water much. I've also thought about 'pushing' one in the summer months.

The smaller A-rig (umbrella rig) for white perch. Was thinking since the spawn is on right now, that the smaller white perch versions might be a good tool since they mimick bait fish schools. Thought about trying one out along the weed beds where they like to bunch up.

Greg I saw a crappie fishing show on tv where 2 guys were using one to troll with and they were catching some doing that.

Very productive using them while long lining if you're rigged out correctly.
