    I have one of his old fiberglass rods also.....but his newer graphite rods will blow you away.....no comparison.....I have 6......

    i`ll have to stop in and see him again....i stopped in about 3 yrs ago and we talked for at least an hour..he`s a character for sure,, a great guy,and loves to talk

    iam going right in front of his house in about a month...i`ll take a rod with me and buy another new one...i have 3 fiberglass one`s and 3 graphites...my sister gave me 3 she bought a few yrs ago..her husband died about 3 yrs ago .i told her about seeing this ad on here today and she offered me her 3...so needless to say..i went and got them...

    I pass there all the time just not when they are open. I need to stop bye and see him. He won't remember me but his son might and I know his grandsons would.

    Many, many years ago he told me that he called a black sac-a-lait with a black line that runs down its back a "saddle back "...been calling them that ever since!

    I told him one time I didn't need his jig pole, that I could catch with a broom stick. I thought he was gonna whip me and throw me out of his shop.
