Stop the yoyo negativity
(Where) Yoyo's are legal. If you don't like them, petition to change the law, don't go hating on here. I've never used them and don't plan to, but I'm not going to hate on those that do so legally and responsibly. There are those that do things that are not legal and responsible any way they fish. Let's not start bashing fishermen in general. We're all in the same boat.
The next time a thread is taken in the wrong direction like that last one was, I will take additional action. Fair warning. It ain't easy moderating the site sometimes, no need to make it harder. Remember "Family, Friends, Fishing and Fun" is our motto here. So go fishing an have some fun with family and friends.

I agree and I would not want to step on toes over the use of legal equipment. If I have offended anyone with the things I said about yoyo's then I am sorry for that Personally I have seen a few places I would want to use them just for scouting and possibility for a few cats.

Everybody fishes a little different than others. Yoyos, spider rigging, single poling , float fishing, as long as they are legal I don't see a problem. We have two locals that are keeping fish under the limit and catching two- three limits a day. Now that I have a problem with. Keeping 6-9 inch fish is useless not enough here to eat.

I think any form of fishing that is legal should not be put down. We are not here to pass judgement on our fellow fisherman. If someone sees something illegal then call the enforcement people and do every one a favor.
