    Default Close but no Cigar

Well was heading to Darbonne this am after my shiners died last night. When I arrived at the honey hole this am a guy was talking about the slab he had caught at PP. So what did I do headed east. Had a decent day ha nineteen with three over two pounds. A two ten. Two eight. Two eleven. Caught several small fish which went back to the growin board. No shiners all caught on jigs eggs where real bloody. Could not buy a bite on the bank. Can't wait to go again freezer is full looking for the three pounder. I am going to try and figure out how to post pics! FYI I actually heard a fellow fisherman apologize for blowing in on someone. Crowd wasn't a problem.

I hope they keep biting for another week or two. My work schedule went from 14/14 to being off Friday and Saturdays only. Hope to take a week off after next weekend and take the kids fishing.

Your Shinners all Croaked to keep you from going to the bone.... The Bass chasers were out again, and the Crappie had Lockjaw. Freebird Fed me Breakfast, Let me pet his Squirrel Dog, and were on the water well before Daylight and Jakes was already full

Enjoyed it too Larry. Although I'm still rubbing that scuff mark on my pride. Fished from daylight till 1:00 pm and never caught a fish. Ugggggh
