    Well, Mae is the better crappie fisherman. She caught a grand total of 2 on a road runner. Big one 1.49 lbs. I caught about 20 bass. Only 2 keepers. Big one 3.27 lbs. Made a nice bag of filets for us. Probably to much for one meal, but not enough for two. Had a fun time anyway. Watching the big carp in the shallow water.     Looks like a great time to me. I got a report around noon from a friend on the Bend and he said they were killing the slabs on the Texas side but I didn't ask where.

    Some people are catching. We heard that. But my favorite Texas fisherman is not killing them yet. Right Skip?
