Made it to the camp by 4pm. Unloaded and on the water by 5. I ran up the river and hit a few stumps. I caught 6 sacs and missed quite a few. Lots of google eyes. Your right Mermentau most fish aren't slamming the jig like on Laccassine. I lost about a half hour helping some boys start their boat. They were back in the bayou between the oxbows. I think its either Bayou DeTorture or Desire. If I wasn't back in there they would of been eaten up by the skeeters. All were caught on black and green jigs. Water is muddy but nothing like Laccassine has been. I took a few pics at the camp to share. I am about to pull a steak off the grill. I am going to eat it with some boudin and deer sausage. I am sitting on the porch listening to a flock of geese roost on the other side of the lake. Man it don't get any better than this.

A Bad Day of Fishing is Better Than a Good Day of Work!
Daily has a camp somewhere close to you I believe. Nice spot and I hope you rack up tomorrow.
You've got me jealous. Fish, Camp, Steak, Boudin and Deer Sausage, what a life.
