    Default Mixed Bag of Fun

Took the boat out to shake out da cobwebs, in an hour of fishing: 1 yearling bass, 1 yearling bar fish(striped bass) 1 lil cat and 1 pretty black sac male. Had fun, all worked well only got hung up once and gave the sac to a young couple fishing from da landing. Hope to pack a lunch and go catch supper tomorrow will let yall know.

Thanks yall, I check in every once and a while but aint posted much of late cause I aint fished much of late. Am hoping it aint too foggy in the morning and the rain will kinda hold off for a while. I have had good luck over the years fishing in front of a front. Who knows, if we go though I'll try to remember a camera this time.

Cappy, I checked out your blog and man did I leave there hungry. Everything looks and sounds so good. I love your garden and orchard as I'm into fruits and veggies also. I have around 100 different varieties of fig trees. It's good to meet others with like interest.

Well thankya Gene we been writing or blog for years now. it started off as a way to share stuff with family, and now it has led us to some great friends and folks always say nice things. Now we use it like a journal to kinda log stuff so as not to forget.
We went back Saturday had a ball was a wonderful slightly overcast day with a light breeze. Alls we brought home was 2 nice lil channel cats couple lbs each. I filleted them tossed them with some cajun seasonings crystal hot sauce and a splash of lemon juice. couple tablespoons of butter in a frying pan the fish went in couple minutes flip couple minutes plated the fish for 2 put a few green onion tales in the pan let it sizzle for a minute and splashed in some wine, while that steamed off and began to simmer I put a pinch of cornstarch in a lil bowl with some warm water stirred it up poured it in and poored the sauce over the fish.Ohhhhhh Mama!! any fresher ya woulda hadda eat em raw and they were delicous. There was a time I'da been disapointed but as I get older it takes less to amke me happy. A great day, a great meal, and you guys to tell about it. Not too shabby.
