    Posted in th ar forum and was gonna check to see if anybody here had any used hoopnets they would b willing to sell. Have to have 2.5" net

    It's along of the same lines of using yo-yo's that's all. Kinda touchy to some. Some of us won't dare identify a picture of a posted bream here either - that gets folks in trouble (banned and everything) that's all. No harm here.

    I would lump yo-yo's with recreational hoop nets. Hoop nets have been used commercially before there were outboards running the bayous. They were an important part of the early culture here like trapping. Remember St. Peter was a commercial fisherman and has the keys.
