Orange grove 2-24-14

My dad came down from Mississippi to fish the grove with me. They weren't jumping in the boat but we fished hard and ended up with 25. About 8 of them haf eggs. Caught them about 8 inches under a cork close to the bank. All in all a good day!

Jigs? Do the fish hit right away? or do you have to twitch it? After reading your post, I'm thinkin I need to go closer to the bank.

Yes they hit on jigs. 1/32 jig head. Most on blue/ white and black/chartreuse. Most hit right away.

That's a nice catch right there. I was in the Grove for a couple hours this afternoon. Been catching a bunch without eggs also......Caught a few perch today off the banks as well. Good job!
