Thread: Caney 2-22-14

Came home yesterday and rigged poles and boat for poverty point. Decided to look at the forum about 10 and check in and saw the 84 caught in 5 hours. Well that changed my mind. Alarm didn't go off this morning so I didn't leave home til 6. Got to the damn a little after 7 and had to re-rig poles in the parking lot for deep water. I joined the armada around 7:45 or 8. I was on the trailer at 2 with 42 fishies. All caught on shiners, didn't get the first bite on a jig. I did have to keep a few dinks because after reeling them up from 36 fow the air bladder was full and they weren't gonna survive. I refuse to feed the birds plus I like a few whole fryers. It was a pretty good day and I did catch several gooduns!! Got a couple pics. Hope you enjoy.
