I didn't know that was a step....

Fun post. Beats the cold. By the way Randy, I have 30 gnats in there. Usually, before the plastics dry out for me, I've decided if that color stays or goes anyway. If it stays I use a little veg oil.

I been meaning to ask a dumb question. What's a gnat?

A shiner hook with some colored tying material and maybe some flash. No lead head. You use these with a minnow, instead of a plain hook. Guy named Donald @ Crappie Logic on the sponsor classified sells them. He does an excellent job on them , they hold up great.

Ditto on those gnats Donnie makes, the hooks are real sharp too.
