    I learned how to do this from Slab Hunter. I'll try to get a pic, been looking on here and couldn't find a one. I'll see if I can get one out and take a pic for you. As far as not hanging up, I just ease the fish up to the boat and then grab the line (unless it's a big one that I have to use a net on) and then ease it to the floor of the boat while watching my line and not letting it tangle. I took me about 3 years to be able to consistantly get fish off of it without tangleing. It can be agravating, but it's worth it in open water.

    Just lurkin' and enjoying the thread. I'm hoping to get a little nicer sonar soon. I will be fishing my local lakes soon, and probably won't need it, but want to learn how to spot baitfish and crappie on sonar.

    My jigs are 18 inches apart with a barrel swivel on top. I'll have to get my son to take a pic of me with one on a pole.
