Welcome. My first year(again) was last year and there were some good times and some not so good. I base my fun on catching, not fishing, so that's my bad. Just be patient and practice techniques at different times of the year and DO NOT GIVE UP. Stick with it and celebrate the smallest victory.

Welcome from Port Allen. There are lots of guys on here who can tell you all about fishing south La. You don't have to ask most of them directly. Just read the post's, as most of them share whereabouts and techniques without having to be asked. Nice bunch we have on here. Oh, if you feel like, type your town name in front of Louisiana in your profile.

Welcome frontierman, that is some nice boat you have. It's double nice if you have some kids to tag alone. That boat can be used almost anywhere.
