    Default Looking for some Sac A Lait


    Hello to all on the board. This is my first post I have been reading for a couple weeks now. I am off tomorrow and was thinking of going somewhere local to catch a few sac a lait. I see there are a few people out on the water today trying to catch a few fish. Just was trying to get a few reports of where they were catching. Made two trips up to Toledo Bend in the last month but they weren't bitting like I hoped. The second trip was the weekend after New Years and I caught more catfish on shiners at the Chicken Coop than I did slabs!

    Welcome to the board! Not familiar with your area, so I can't help there. I went up to the coop about the same time you did but couldn't even get the catfish to bite for me! We are having a gathering up there next weekend if you want to come up and meet several of the members. The owner of this site will be there also.

    We didn't stay, we just made a day trip. It is about 3 hours from my house.
