WARNING; before you read any farther you need to know that some minners, aka: shiners, died today on Lake Claiborne. LOL. I knew I would get your attention with that title and opening.
Actually the only shiners that died were the ones the bar fish ate, which was four. All of my crappie, which was 8, came on jigs. I fished from 8:00 AM until 11:30 AM. The few fish I caught were nice and came from 34-35 feet of water and I was fishing 30 feet deep. 5 of the crappie were caught on electric chicken. The other 3 were caught on a jig that was black on the back and green under the belly with glitter; I don't remember the name.
I have them cleaned and ready for the oil when the wife gets home.
Thank you, Lord, for a mess of fresh fish.

Hey Pastor, good to see ya posting again. You moved to the lake then you stopped fishing. Naw, I know the reason. The Lord's work calls. Fresh fish will go great tonight. I plan to eat some myself that I caught a few days ago. Keep up the good work.
