Thread: Has anyone done any good at Cypress?

I have been a handful of times. This year is off for me. I think I caught 20 on one outing, but no real size. The water has been high due to rain and bit more stained then usual. Not sure how much difference that makes. Usually by now I have a freezer full from Cypress. I fish it a lot and kind of feel like I know what I'm doing out there (this is open to debate ), and I have struggled. North Louisiana has been off this year. No bite at Bistineau, Cypress, Caddo......... Only few good reports from Claiborne. I'm going to blame unusuall amount of rainfall.

I can't see how he can fish sixteen lines. We have a hard time with six or seven at times. I'm trying to get everything ready so we can go Sunday morning. I'll let y'all know how it goes.

Ima witness too! Must be a gift...one I don't have. LOL I checked on him last night. He said he's been working his tail off lately. Hope he gets to go soon. We all need a 'fix' here and there.

Just thought I would chime in again. We went to Cypress on the 25th. I think we caught a dozen small to medium fish in six hours. We talked to a few other folks who hadn't done much either.
