    Default Cypress / Black Bayou


    Fished Black Bayou side yesterday morning...caught 2 nice crappie and 5 bass...threw everything back...that was my second time fishing that side with the same results...fished 18 to 19 ft deep and observed load of shade in deeper sections...fished under those bait fish without much happening...1 crappie on a pink road runner head black and chart body tipped with a minnow and the other on a straight minnow...bass hit the jigs and minnows, no real pattern...

    I live on BB but have always crappie fished on Cypress. Once I put some meat in the freezer, I plan to try to locate some BB crappie. I know 2-3 spots where I always see people throwing out markers and fishing that I may look over. The bridge has always been a decent spot also.

    Dont get in a big hurry to do that just yet! I fished Cypress today from 0630-1600 and came home with 13 fish. I fished every area that I have caught them in the past and then some, they aint doing to good right now. The water is up a little, 2-3" going over the spillway. Maybe next week it will get better.

    you mean that 13 is not doing to good......Vet and I might have to disagree with that.....

    went to claiborne last sunday caught 25 decent size and about 50 bar fish fun but
    FAITH,FAMILY,FISHING. I HAVE FAITH MY FAMILY WILL LET ME GO FISHING!!!!
