    Default Bayou Corne

The latest report about fishing Bayou Corne I can find is Jan 2013 on the Louisiana Sportsman website.

Can anyone give us an update on fishing activity in the general area and if the sink hole should be a concern.

No report, but if you go in the area and notice your boat rapidly drifting, crank it and head in the opposite direction.

That was in the back of my mind for sure, but the draw to the area is still strong. I sure would like to go back for another stay, but.............

i like the 3tail with sparkles….like you said earlier in the week…don't think the fish much care about sparkle or not….I do have more confidence in black and chartreuse and more confidence in the tails with sparkle in it…...

    Hey Vet,
Everybody likes sparkles. Me too when it comes to Black&Chartreuse.

In the winter time at By U Corn the fish like to suspend in the grass. Swimming the 3tail in around the grass will get you bit.

Most folks beat the bank and miss the fish. You still gotta find the canal that's holding em. My

in my understanding of fish the colder the water the slower you fish…..so how long do you give an unknown lay down….do you fish every nook and cranny or hit the high points quickly and move on…..??
