You never know if their biting or not unless you go. Now Bass IMHO are more effected by a cold front then crappie and most of the time it pretty much turns them off. Crappie can get turned of too at times by a cold front, but I don't think as much and besides it's really only one day if it does it's bad magic shut off and by the next day they start getting better and by the 3rd day it's back to normal. I think if it's a big time front and the weather really drops a lot then it may be worse especially if the water temps drop enough. However it's the pressure change that makes the fish shut down if they do. This time of year I also do not think it's as important.
