Thread: Toledo Bend gathering

I got on the water later than I expected today and probably missed the bite. I caught a few in san miguel and the 1215 area but they quit biting around noon. I went to the chicken coop and did not get a bite there, I did not see anyone catching there but they probably bit early there also.

No problem, im happy to be able to give back some info, I have read alot on this site. This is my first year fishing up here. I started in the summer and did real good until winter. I find the winter to be difficult because as soon as you pattern the fish, the weather changes and you have to start all over again to find them.

I find it difficult in all seasons of the year.....so..to me....if you can catch 3 in winter time....you're an expert.......you just wait n see...when I get up there friday these fish will pack up and disappear....vanish​.

patterns....the only pattern I see is work a couple weeks and fish on a day when they were biting yesterday.....

Ummmmmm if the fish are just gonna up and disappear when you get there can you hold of till saturday.. I wanna try and catch a few before i get frostbite on friday.. lol!!!!

NOT A CHANCE.....

I have friends like that, No matter how good I have been catching, if I invite them to go fishing, we wont get a bite. It always happens lol. I call it the yesterday syndrome. The fish will bite as soon as they leave so I go back fishing when they go home.
