    Default A box full.

Boy did the grandkids and I along with my daughter fill a box today. To bad it wasn't crappie but it was good enough. We've been wanting to do this for a long time but the weather has been terrible here for the last 2 months and on any good days there was always something to interfere. Anyway we did get to go today even though we had to wait out a thunder storm for an hour. The high light of the trip is when my 11 year old grandson had a gator on his line. I wish I could have gotten a shot of but it broke off before I could get my phone out of my pocket. I must say it was some hot and we had to take frequent brakes under the boat top and wrap cold towels around our necks. Most of all it was great fun and I hope we can do it again before summers end. I wish I would have though of taking pictures of the kids in action but I was busy tending my own lines and the thought never crossed my mind. I did get to take a shot after we got home and here it is. Oh, and by the way the eating was great.

Dwayne we went to a place not far from Lake Decade. It's a bout a 5 minute boat ride. It's an area where the tide goes in and out of the marsh. Today we were fishing and incoming tide so we fished on the inside.
