Size: 43.3 KBuse the yellow on the salter pole and it is giving me fits will try power pro...use the line on right on spinning reels and it seems to cast my roadrunner well with no probs..but I like the salter as it is so no complicated and i can cover some ground which seems to be important sometimes...

Anything castable, give me 10 lb trilene. Dont take me brim fishing with braid, a nightmare.
Rainy days braid sticks to my rod like glue.

Braid works good on spincast reels for about a half a day.

If your gonna cast a slip cork with braid...you better call Leroy (ESB)

I use some stuff called "Reel Magic". Spray all the line out of the reel and in a couple minutes your line will straighten out and stay that way for most of the day. Works on any line I've tried, but I've never used braid so I don't know about it. One bottle will last a couple of years if you go fishing 3 to 4 times a week.

Reel Magic is good stuff and will help mono a lot. Blakemore is who sells Reel Magic and if you buy it get the airosoil and not the pump spray like Bass Pro sells.

However if you go to braid you have to leave a good bit of mono on for backing! Next I also use Power Pro a lot, have both Spider Wire and Fireline Crystal, but last time I bought the new Power Pro 8 Super Slick and I love it! No more with the hearing it in the guides and is very smooth.

I use power pro 10/2 and 6 and 8 # stren on spinning reels and they all twist I think it depends how much line is on spool also. The only problem I have with power pro is it twist around the tip of rod when you cast into the wind.
