Ever heard the saying,"Even a blind squirrel can find a nut every now and then".THEY STARTED SMALL.
I STARTED TO FEEL BETTER AFTER THIS ONE.
OH....THAT'S WHAT A BREAM LOOKS LIKE....
Count them 5....crickets 18 to 24 inches under slip cork....thanks to slip cork....phillips canal....friday 5-3-13...6 pm and i fished the solunar table....And as promised....wait i forgot, this pic is of them waiting to meet their maker... now as promised each individual picture...
big daddy,
,
check out the stripes,
,and last but not least
Sacs may have been in places I did not want to be but i did start out with shiners. Once I found this hole I stayed and did try shiners at this one spot in earnest but no luck in the sac dept. Apparently sacs and bream do not live together. Thanks for looking and sharing in my small but meaningful accomplishment and I get confidence from this site, so thanks...
Way to go TalNice little mess of bream. Congrats and thanks for the report and pics.

Way to go bream!!Awesome job of catching and counting:rolleyes: them, Tal. As I told someone else last year, you can't catch them till they bite. Once you get the feel for the bite, it gets better and better. Now. you eat dat !!! By the way, I think the striped fish was a tiger fan !!![]()

Way to go Tal. I see you had the filet knife ready to go. Nice little mess of bream. When you parked the boat last night, were the escaped crickets chirping in there? I know the sound well. Even with the little ones, it's fun to jerk them. Bet it was rough with that cold wind. Love the pictures, thanks for posting.

Was making plans all week to be puttin a whoopin on a mess of bream saturday but lo and behold ole man coldfront changed those plans so instead i spent the day stripping cabinets![]()
You go, Vet! Those patassa will fry up nicely. Wish I could have been doing what you were doing, but I was in Natchitoches today talking about it. And I'd much rather do it than talk about it!
Got to meet T-Bone, though, so that helped make the day very enjoyable!
Keep up the good work (ie "Catch a bunch!").
