    Default Scratched yesterday.

Linda and I did a late trip hitting the water around 10:30 AM. We fished the same area that my son and I caught the 37 fish on Monday. We just could not buy a bite. Linda finally put a small bass in the boat and I hooked a dink on a fast retrieve that make him fly through the air and came off, saving me the trouble. We tried up and down and all around and with about 30 different color combo and styles. ZIP. Well as they say "you win some and you lose some", and yesterday we loss.

Water temp 59 to 63 degrees, barometer 30.20 and falling, water clear.

I bet it was nice to be out in this excellent weather though.

    Hey PPG -
That's not all bad - and quite similar to many of my trips!
At least it didn't rain on you, your boat didn't sink, some zoom-zoom bouys in an overpowered bassboat didn't run over you, you didn't get a hook in your finger, and Linda's feeling better.
Sounds like a decent day to me!

Momma says, "it bees that ways sometimes". It's happened to me a time or 500.

Probally to much shiner slime on your baits.

Yeah Bruce, it sure does. I've got to agree with you Pete, that's just about the way Linda put it on the drive home. A great day.

JR even Linda's shiner bucket couldn't get them to bite or it scared them away.

You're right Joe, we need to leave a few for next time.
