cypress 11.17.2012

me and jerry went to cypress this morning. had a good time. we ended up with 35. we caught some GIANTS. had 8 fish over 2 pounds each. i took a pic with a couple of the big uns. caught all right off the bottom on shiners.

way to go Doc, great day for it too. Was you fishing near the launch by the dam or back closer to the swimming area? You still fishing 14 to 16 fow?
The boys and I will most likely try them Monday. If i could get the wife to agee I would take the camper and stay at the park this week.

We fished near the dam today from about 2:30 til dark and only managed 4 fish. Noone else was catching. One fellow said if you found the brush you could find fish, otherwise no luck.
Those are some really nice fish, Doc. I didn't know Cypress had 'em that big!

Mark, I ended up with 8, but nothing so big to brag about. Did get a couple of decent ones there at the end. Wish I'd had more time to stay, but that's the way it goes. Talked to a guy loading up when I was and he said he caught 5 fish....catfish and yellow bass! Guess my 8 weren't so bad!

nice catch , i drove by the dam yesterday and there were like 25 boats out..i will be out this week (atleast tuesday and thursday ). awesome catch.
