    How has the bite been? Havent had a chance get out there and fish for a couple months and I was planning on going Thursday or friday but I don't want to waste my time if if they aren't hitting good. Any advise?

    Any time on the water is never wasted......just take a hot thermos of coffee, couple balogna sammiges and soak up the rays....

    seriously though.....welcome to CDC(CrappieDotCom)......a great bunch of guys here willing to share.....I was going today (Henderson) but think it will be Thursday instead......some of the locals (who really know the lake) have been catching a few but my last trip recently was not too good.....I am still trying to learn the patterns there.....I would suggest fish deep with black/char or blue/white jigs....good luck....

    I have not been able to find sacalait in Henderson lately. 3 of us went yesterday in two boats and we caught a total of about 10-12 bass (4 keepers) and one sacalait from 7:30-4:30.

    They are catching a few have to move aroun and find them. What I am catching is all shallow about 2-3 ft deep

    4 sacs today and one bass......like Derek said....2 ft dp in 4 to 5 fow........I think I can do better next trip now that I have somewhat of a pattern......sacs are getting bigger.....one guy I saw had caught 12 bass.....don't know how many were keepers......

    Have any of you ever fished the locks in south Henderson? Went out there a few weeks ago when the water was high and did pretty good! Caught a few bass and sac a lait, all keepers. Went back Sunday afternoon, the water was real low and I didn't catch a single thing
