Well since everyone is plugging theirs I'll add mine. Duracraft quit making boats for a while but are now back in production. They also make the War Eagle boats which are very similar to the Duracrafts. I think this is a family owned business in Arkansas.

A while back I saw where someone made a 18ft (with a hyd stick setup) that was rated for 90hp or so.

Yes I noticed the original thread was from back a few years. Looks like with as much interest as there appears to be for stick steer boats, there would be a few more on the showrooms. You sure don't see many used ones for sale. Took me a year to find mine.

Size: 56.6 KBI bought my stick steer when I lived in Louisiana and fished smaller body of waters. I live in Mississippi now and fish much larger bodies of water and really don't care for the stick steer for my current fishing situation. If the wind is 10 mph or more the ride can get pretty rough for me and keeping my tips still for spider rigging can be quite the challenge as well. They definitely have their upsides but it's not all smiles and rainbows all the time.

I love the seats! One of the best purchases that I have made for the boat.

I like the sticks well I'll say tiller handles. I just upgraded about 6 months ago to a 2013 Ranger 175T. This boat has all the room you need, rides great. Look it up I'm sure some of yall will like it. I believe I'm the only one in south Louisiana with one, traveled to Kansas City to get it. My old boat is a 13' boston whaler with a tiller 50hp mercury. Which is going up for sale soon, if anybody interested in it.

Don't have a picture of mine but I have a Wareagle 754VS. Wouldn't trade it for anything but a Sea Arc forecast. Like Ray I looked for almost a year before I found mine. 50 hp Yamaha 4 stroke. Runs plenty fast for me. Motor has enough power to lift bow up where it's not all that rough to me even though there are times it will make you slow down. SeaArc are really hard to find. They made the Forecast in 2 models the 15.5 in stick and the 17 in side console. The last year they offered the forecast they built the 17 ft in a stick steer version. Guess the demand just wasn't there. If I found one I could afford that is what I would have as much as I like my Wareagle. EZ-Poleholder on here had the console steer 17 and converted it to stick steer a few years ago and that was one nice fishing boat. There is a company now that sells a hydraulic steering setup for stick steer's that looks to be really slick but pretty pricy right now.
