I enjoy fishing with yo yo's and have no problem with others using them. I do think that with anything they should be used responsibly and with courtesy for others. Every year I look foreward to yo yo season andhope that I have many more to enjoy with my son and friends.

It has been many years since I fished yoyos but I've enjoyed many hours with my sons when they were young fishing yoyos. I'm not sure of the laws now but Arkansas used to require the yoyos tagged with name ETC. and you had to be within sight or sound of them.

DG doesn't know how to let tension off the spring to prevent that from happening. Probably knew several ways to open a beer bottle without an opener.

I yo yo fish with my grandsons, we love to do it. But on D'Arbonne Lake you have to have your name and phone # on the yo yo. The law says that U have to be staying on the lake to fish them. If they check on U and U leave fish on to rot or to be eaten by turtles U are in a peck of trouble. I see nothing wrong with them if fished properly. I would rather catch them on a pole or rod.
