Hi guys. new to the forum and gotta say i have learned more from this forum in the last few weeks than I have in all my 48 years. I have one question. i live just north of Denham Springs in Watson and have been reading the threads about the Amite and Tickfaw rivers. Especially the posts from Jig Rig and Sac o billy. Got on google maps and saw a lake called Flat lake near where the amite runs into the diversion canal. Has anyone fished this lake? also saw one near there called lake martin. Never fished there, thinking about putting in at hilltop sunday mid morning and trying the amite and if possible flat lake. Any advice ya'll can give my son and I would be appreciated. Not looking for you're hot spots Just advice. Thanks Jake
