Well it won't be long as long as these night time temps stay in the mid 40 -50 range and the daytime temps stay in the 70"s with all this sunshine the water temp should creep up slowly,Sunday the water temp at yucutan was 44%,prob a little warmer on inland lakes that are not influenced by the miss. river.

Well, the air temps. have a direct influence over the water temps. The warmer the days and nights the warmer the water temps. As they say bring the water temps up to the mid 50's, throw in the moon phase and BAM! Mother nature takes her course.

yeah, albany is right across lake ponchatrain on the "north shore" by Hammond. Though Im still considered SE louisiana, you're right the rivers, pits, lakes, etc...do have a little more water than the marsh or basin areas so there will be differences there.
