Stephensville

Anyone fish Stevensville lately? If so, is the water level up? Thinking about going in the morning. I was going to go to Mamma's pond but found out the water level came up about 4 feet and the fishing is nadda.

went Friday 6AM to 10 but not in the basin......stayed close around Stephensville(what we call the Verrett side) mainly the carwash canal.....big bite was off from other trips.....caught lots of small bass, bream and sacs....no keepers....should have tried other spots like Grassy Lake, Cheramie or south end of Verrett.....gonna try to learn the south end of the basin when the water starts dropping........water level looked pretty much normal....water color was beautiful....good luck if you go....(Morgan City)rain 10% up to 10 AM then 30%.......wind 5 MPH at 6AM & max 9 MPH mid day....
